All and only Jesus—formation rooted in Scripture, lived virtue, and full fidelity to the Roman Catholic Church.
All and only Jesus.
We believe and follow all that Jesus said and did, as given in Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, and as authentically interpreted by the Magisterium of the Catholic Church in matters of faith and morals. We receive Tradition as the living, Spirit-guided transmission of apostolic teaching—handed on from the Apostles through the Fathers of the Church and the Church’s continuous life. Like St. Francis of Assisi, we aim to stay close to the Gospel and to the Church’s Magisterium, avoiding the shifting religious and political controversies that can distract from conversion and mission.
Our formation is grounded in Scripture, prayer, modeling, and instruction, with particular emphasis on the Biblical Books of John.
We aim for heart‑level listening to Jesus and practical daily application of the Word.
Connect‑Talk® / Positive Christian Dialog (PCD) is the core formation method: a Jesus‑centered relational attitude and practice formed in imitation of Christ Jesus.
It teaches elimination of “Terrible Ten” Negatives and open, affirming—yet truth‑filled direct yet gentle—relational speech. These strengthen positive connection and the formation of true constant friendship within vocation (marriage, family, priestly and religious life, parish life).
We emphasize growth in the theological and cardinal virtues—especially Faith, Hope, and Love—so that conversion becomes lived and stable.
True evangelization produces interior and relational change, not merely instruction.
One of the primary purposes of Matrimony is evangelization.
When inner healing occurs within a couple and family, matrimonial union becomes lived unity as a Domestic Church—a real ‘portiuncula’ portion of God’s outpouring grace.
Our ministry is carried out primarily through workshops that train lay leaders in concert with ordained Catholic priests.
We believe this communion of the faithful is the model to which we are called. We seek to honor the expertise of well-trained priests, especially in theology, philosophy, morality, and ethics, and to affirm the distinctive charism of spiritual direction as belonging in a unique way to the sacramental grace of ordination.
For this reason, the priests who serve with us are not simply presenters, but spiritual directors, sacramental ministers, and leaders of follow-up Lectio Divina Dialog™ groups. Our top-tier lay trainers are prepared as experts in the interpersonal and intrapersonal application of Connect-Talk®, which applies the psycho-spiritual, Jesus-modeled attitudes and philosophies of inner dialog and outer dialogic Christian living. Our goal is to foster self-sustaining and multiplying Domestic Church communities that pass on this rich gift of the Holy Spirit.
We also desire that our clergy-laity collaboration be an actual witness and model of what we seek to build. We must walk the walk in order to be humble teachers who model, not ourselves, but Christ Jesus.
We do not engage in political activism as an organization.
We do not provide psychotherapy through this ministry; our work is religious formation and skill‑building rooted in Catholic anthropology and the Gospel.
